DR. COLUMBUS: So, welcome to my world.
FEMALE VOICE 1: Yes.
DR. COLUMBUS: So how's your eyes now after surgery?
FEMALE VOICE 1: Wonderful.
DR. COLUMBUS: Yeah.
FEMALE VOICE 1: Absolutely.
DR. COLUMBUS: So how do you enjoy it now?
FEMALE VOICE 1: I love it.
DR. COLUMBUS: How's it changed?
FEMALE VOICE 1: Morning, noon, and night.
DR. COLUMBUS: How do you see differently?
FEMALE VOICE 1: Well I never thought I'd be this good. I didn't. But I can see everything. I can see when I'm cleaning, I see the dust, I see everything. It's just wonderful.
DR. COLUMBUS: Before surgery, did you have to use glasses all the time?
FEMALE VOICE 1: All the time.
DR. COLUMBUS: And you were far sighted too, right?
FEMALE VOICE 1: Yes.
DR. COLUMBUS: And you were blurry for everything?
FEMALE VOICE 1: Everything.
DR. COLUMBUS: What kind of glasses did you wear?
FEMALE VOICE 1: Um…
DR. COLUMBUS: Trifocals? Bifocals?
FEMALE VOICE 1: Yeah, the bifocals.
DR. COLUMBUS: Yeah. So you had a prescription for far, reading…
FEMALE VOICE 1: Mm hmm.
DR. COLUMBUS: So you needed it for reading, for your close up as well as for distance?
FEMALE VOICE 1: Yes.
DR. COLUMBUS: Yeah.
FEMALE VOICE 1: Now I don’t need them.
DR. COLUMBUS: Wow. So how is driving?
FEMALE VOICE 1: Wonderful.
DR. COLUMBUS: You see nice for distance?
FEMALE VOICE 1: Yes.
DR. COLUMBUS: And you can see the car gauges now?
FEMALE VOICE 1: Yes.
DR. COLUMBUS: You couldn't do that before could you?
FEMALE VOICE 1: No. I couldn't read how many, like miles was on the car, nothing.
DR. COLUMBUS: Boy, you must be traveling a lot more now, huh?
FEMALE VOICE 1: [laughs] I love it, yes.
DR. COLUMBUS: And you're reading without glasses too?
FEMALE VOICE 1: Yes, all the time.
DR. COLUMBUS: So you've got the best of both worlds as well.
FEMALE VOICE 1: Everything. The best thing I ever did.
DR. COLUMBUS: Wow.
FEMALE VOICE 1: Yup.
DR. COLUMBUS: So would you get this done again?
FEMALE VOICE 1: Definitely. Tomorrow.
DR. COLUMBUS: No hesitation, huh?
FEMALE VOICE 1: Never.
DR. COLUMBUS: And we're what, only two weeks out.
FEMALE VOICE 1: Two weeks.
DR. COLUMBUS: Well it's been an eye-opening experience for you, huh?
FEMALE VOICE 1: Yes. I'm so happy I got it done. It's the best thing I ever did. I show my surgery tape to everyone.
DR. COLUMBUS: What do they think about it?
FEMALE VOICE 1: They can't believe it's that short a procedure, you know?
DR. COLUMBUS: It's only five minutes.
FEMALE VOICE 1: That's all it was.
DR. COLUMBUS: That's amazing. Next day, how were you doing the next day?
FEMALE VOICE 1: Wonderful. And when you told me that I could get better and better it did. It got better and crisper.
DR. COLUMBUS: Yeah, it's going to get better. This is not done yet.
FEMALE VOICE 1: Oh. [laughter] I love it.
DR. COLUMBUS: Usually the best vision is four to six weeks. You're only two weeks out.
FEMALE VOICE 1: Oh.
DR. COLUMBUS: So.
FEMALE VOICE 1: Yippee.
DR. COLUMBUS: More enjoyment to come.
FEMALE VOICE 1: Yes, thank you.
DR. COLUMBUS: I'm glad you're happy.
FEMALE VOICE 1: I am happy.
DR. COLUMBUS: Well thank you for being my patient.
FEMALE VOICE 1: Oh, you're welcome.
DR. COLUMBUS: Thank you. You're a great patient.
